The main reason is that English is my native language, so I can express myself the most accurately in English.
English also works very well as a lingua franca. It would be too time-consuming to write articles in every language!
What does P.I.E. stand for?
Proto-Indo-European. It is a hypothetical language which has been reconstructed by modern academics. There is no direct record of the language (e.g. inscribed stone tablets). It is believed by many linguists to be the language from which the "Indo-European" family of languages developed.
Why do you mostly write about Indo-European languages?
English is an Indo-European language, so I chose to study closely related languages as my first priority.

I contacted several language departments when I first began this blog, but received no responses.
